MAGIC (Mentor and Angel Group of I Create) Fund is a donation based seed capital assistance fund. This fund has been created through the generous contributions of many individuals and organizations. The focus is on providing hassle free and low cost access to capital to the aspiring entrepreneurs who have been trained by I Create and who have a viable business plan and an implementation strategy.
This fund addresses the two major hurdles faced by these entrepreneurs, especially at micro level, viz.
(i) bureaucracy encountered in accessing the many schemes meant to help the business start-up, and
(ii) high cost of loans from MFIs.
As the corpus of the MAGIC fund is created through donations, we are able to provide assistance without charging any interest. The recipients of the assistance are required to pay back the amount received as assistance as per agreed repayment plan together with a small service fee to take care of collection efforts and other related expenses.
Median value of assistance provided is Rs.30,000/- and a contribution of Rs. One Lakh enables us help 3 to 4 people per annum, in perpetuity. You can contribute to this fund through our Donation option. Your donation is eligible for receiving 80 (G) exemption.
You can sponsor a workshop for a group of beneficiaries. Many NGOs and other groups approach us for programs but do not have necessary resources to meet the expenses.

You may sponsor one or more of such programs to enable us conduct these workshops and help the deserving. Please contact the nearest I Create Center to work out the details.
